Vollyze (“Vollyze,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a volleyball match-recording, analysis, and team-support application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and delete information when you use the App.

Information collected or generated when you use the App

CategoryPurpose
Account, authentication, and random device identifiersTo authenticate access, keep Team synchronization consistent, help prevent abuse, and identify account-deletion requests.
Security and service recordsTo protect the service, investigate errors or misuse, and confirm synchronization status.
Optional product analyticsOnly if you turn on the optional analytics setting: pseudonymous product events and the coarse App locale (ja-JP or en-US) are used to improve Vollyze and measure Vollyze’s own product and marketing performance.

The current App ordinarily keeps player condition entries (including RPE, sleep hours, pain level, pain location, attendance, and notes), player photos or icons, and videos selected from the photo library on your device. Team synchronization, backup, sharing, or an upload feature may send information when you explicitly use that feature.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, calendar data, telephone numbers, postal addresses, payment-card or bank-account numbers, the advertising identifier (IDFA), or information for cross-app advertising tracking. The App does not continuously access the camera or microphone.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the App; record matches and generate statistics and reports; provide AI summaries, coaching insights, and practice suggestions; operate Team features; verify and restore subscriptions; analyze optional product events; prevent misuse; and respond to support requests.

3. AI Features

When you request an AI match summary, Vollyze sends the information needed to prepare that summary to our server and AI processing provider. This can include Team and match identifiers, a source hash, match title, result label, summary lines, rally counts, side-out and break-point rates, priorities, weak-rotation information, and the requested output language. A match title or other user-entered text may contain personal information. Do not enter information you are not authorized to share.

We use the AI result to provide the requested summary, coaching insight, or practice suggestion. AI output is assistance for coaching decisions, not medical, safety, or performance advice.

4. Service Providers and Other Disclosures

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information to service providers that process it only to provide the App:

We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, property, or security of Vollyze, users, or others.

5. Storage and Retention

6. Your Choices and Rights

Subject to role and Team permissions, you can view, edit, export, or delete information in the App; manage or end a Team if you are the Team owner; turn optional remote analytics on or off in Settings; and manage or cancel App Store subscriptions through Apple. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. Contact us below; we may need to verify your request.

7. Account Deletion

You can start account deletion in the App’s Settings. The flow deletes the account and associated personal server data that we are not legally required to retain, and clears local App state on that device. A Team owner can confirm the end of the Team and deletion of shared Team data before deleting the owner’s account. A Team member can leave a Team and then delete their own account.

Deleting an account or ending a Team does not cancel an App Store subscription. You must manage or cancel the subscription in Apple’s subscription settings. If you use Sign in with Apple, we attempt to revoke the Apple connection before deletion; Vollyze account deletion can still proceed if that revocation step cannot be completed.

8. Children and Minors

Vollyze is for coaches and team staff age 18 or older. Before creating or joining a Team, an account holder must confirm that they are an adult coach or staff member and acknowledge the Terms and this Policy. Player and Parent/Guardian accounts, including player and guardian viewing modes, are not currently available.

Adult coaches and staff may maintain a team roster that includes minor players. The adult who enters a minor’s information is responsible for having the authority and any consent required to do so, and must use only the information needed for legitimate team activity. We do not knowingly offer a direct account to a child. If we learn that a minor is using a Team account directly, we may suspend or delete that account.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including TLS/HTTPS in transit, token-based authentication, database row-level security, least-privilege administrative access, and audit logging for sensitive service operations. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. App Store Privacy Information

Our App Store privacy disclosure must match this policy and the production App, including applicable categories such as contact information, identifiers, purchases, user content, product interaction, and health-and-fitness information. We do not use collected information for tracking as defined by Apple.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our practices or the App change. For material changes, we will provide notice in the App, on the App’s distribution page, or by another appropriate method. The updated policy will state its effective date.
